Julia Dray

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Julia Dray recently appeared in the UK and International Tour of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. She was a recipient of the Hal Leonard Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre when training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

 

Theatre:

Julia has been in several shows to date. Her credits include Marcy Park in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2010), Sarah Jane Moore in Assassins (2013), Bad Idea Bear, cover Kate/Lucy in Avenue Q (2015), Ensemble/Swing in Spring Awakening (2016), cover Carole King, Cynthia Weil & Genie Klein in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (2018), and Ensemble/Principal Understudy in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (2020).

She has also appeared on stage and screen in various projects. They include Celtic Illusions (concert, 2013) as Singer, Telstra Nye (Australia, commercial, 2013) as Partygoers, Deadly Women (TV, 2014), Identity (short film, 2014) as Paige, Thank You For Being A Friend (comedy, 2015) as Blanche, Jazzamatazz (cabaret, 2015) as Dancer, Commonwealth Bank (voiceover, 2016), Newcastle Permanent Bank (Regional NSW Australia, 2016) as Hero Girl, Slut (2017) as Nikki, Faux (2019) as Fox, Outmark (voiceover, 2019) and Verivox (Germany, 2019) as Desi.
