Kibong Tanji

Kibong Tanji is a British actor/ performer based in London. She made her West End debut by playing the female cover to Arinzé Kene in Misty at Trafalgar Studios in 2018. Previously, she appeared in the BRIT School productions Velma – Chicago (2014) and PaPa Ge/ Ma Ma Ge - Once On This Island (2015). Her notable performances in the West End include Tina—The Tina Turner Musical and Hairspray. 

 

Training:

She received her training from The BRIT School (Extended Level 3 Diploma in Performing Arts/ Musical Theatre) and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Acting and Musical Theatre from the prestigious The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Kibong Tanji’s theatre credit includes Ensemble in Tina the Musical (Aldwych Theatre), Lorraine in Hairspray (London Coliseum), and Understudy of Arinzé Kene in Misty (Trafalgar Studios).
