Carina Gillespie

Carina Gillespie is a professional actor, singer and dancer who has made a name in theatre. She is skilled in various dance and music genres and released a single in 2010 under the name Ezcapade. The track climbed to number 2 in the DMC Charts and also became featured on the number 1 album Clubland 18.

 

Training:

Carina attended the Liverpool Theatre School for her training in acting.

Her theatre credits include Princess Timara in Brenda Lefevere’s Jack and the Beanstalk at the Regent’s Theatre, Ipswich; the title role in Chris Jordan’s Sleeping Beauty at Wyllyotts Theatre; Linda Blair in Tony McHale’s Bloodbath the Musical at the Edinburgh Festival and George Square Theatre; Maria Elena in Rob Bettinson’s The Buddy Holly Story in the Scandinavian and the UK Tour; Sandy in David Gilmore’s Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre and the UK Tour; Slave of The Ring in David Lee’s Aladdin; understudied Glinda and played the character of Nessarose in Joe Mantello’s original Wicked UK & Ireland Tour, as well as the reopening West End cast.

Other credits:

Carina’s was a support act for Basshunter in the 2010 UK Tour, session singer for Love to Infinity Records, dancer for different music videos, and played Carmen in Sanctuary Films’ Siphonheads.
