Makoto Iso

Makoto Iso is a London-based dancer and actress who plays an Ensemble in The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre. She attended the Central School of Ballet to train in Singing, Acting, and Ballet (2003) and later went to The Hastings Stage Studio to train in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Singing, and Musical Theatre (2007).

 

Theatre:

Her theatre credits include Cinderella (J&V Production), The King And I (Curve Theatre Production), the National Tour of The King And I, Hello Dolly (Curve Theatre Production), and Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre.

Film and TV:

Makoto appeared in About Time (Universal Picture) as a Japanese tourist, the X Factor as a Dancer, the 2009 BRIT Award as a Dancer, and T4 “Phone Shop” as a Dancer.

Music video:

Her music video work includes Shake That Ass as a Featured Artist, Neko No Temo Karitai as the Primary Actress, and White Lies “There Goes Our Love Again” as a Lead Dancer.

Commercials:

Makoto also appeared in several commercials like MTV Gonzo promo with Alexa Ching, ITV World Cup promo, Heineken, Comedy Central, Vitamin Water, HSBC Rugby Seven World Series 2012, Sony Playstation 15 Year Brand heritage, FIFA 15 and MTV Hook’d.
