Michael Moulton

Michael Moulton is an actor and singer from London, who’s currently a part of the popular and long-running production of The Book Of Mormon. He received a 3-year drama training at the Italia Conti and graduated with a BA Honours in Acting. Michael was a Spotlight Prize Nominee in 2005.

 

Theatre:

He has good experience in musicals, having appeared in quite a few to date. His credits include Newt Lee/Waiter in Parade; understudy Rasputin, Dex, G-Dog and Sunny Shake in Daddy Cool (Cole Kitchenn), Preacher in Finian’s Rainbow (Phil Willmott), Bartholomew in Yarico (Emily Gray), Newt Lee/Jim Conley in Parade (Jody Tranter) at the London Theatre Workshop, and is currently playing the role of General/Satan, and cover Mafala in The Book Of Mormon by Sonia Friedman Productions (Trey Parker and Casey Nicholaw).

Film:

Michael has also appeared in several films like Kick-Off as Steven, Abioye The Big I Am, Darren in Directgov Standalone, and Prison Buddy in Hep C Virus Film.

Shorts films credits are Bar Owner in A London Tale and Male Tramp in Vagabond (London Film Academy, Brad in The Ex-Factor, Jeffery in Underexposed (Lightfoot Pictures) and Marcus in The Sharp End (BBC).

His extensive work on stage includes playing Lucas Shaw in The Challenge at The Garnett Foundation, Ramesses The Great (lead) in Horrible Histories Awful Egyptians in the National Tour, Show Host in Above Romance, Joseph in Discotivity – Edinburgh, The Champ in Dance Baby Dance, Buju in Faggamuffin, Michael in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and White Painted Congolese Man in Exhibit B. He was in the 2013 comedy Ones N Twos, Flavormag. Michael also worked in a documentary called Days That Shook The World for Lion TV.
