This was an excellent show and lives up to its name. Even if you don't like magic you will love this.
Great show. Top host with amazing voice. We only had 3 acts of but they were all top quality, very funny. I would definitely recommend it and go again .
I booked this two days before the performance after seeing an advert online, and had a fantastic evening. I managed to get a table at the front - good idea? not sure - and got voted audience rep by the amazing Miss Chastity Belt, who was compering. We have three acts who performed twice each. Terrific juggler, who cleverly made it look much simpler than it was, a magic act called Matrix who had been on Britain's Got Talent (and who I had also seen on a cruise ship to norwegian fjords in May) and a really good funny ventriloquist. I would heartly recommend going to see the show. I would say that the drinks were expensive - I know it's the Haymarket, but I have been to over 70 shows in the last 15 months and even I was shocked!! But amazing entertainment, laughed lots, and left with a broad smile. Wish I had got a photo with Miss Chastity Belt (we fell in love!!! even though I'm gay).
What a wonderful show! Such a good evening of light hearted entertainment, plenty of audience participation. Great acts, including juggling, magicians and a brilliant compere called Chastity Belt with a phenomenal voice and excellent banter. I looked at some reviews previous to seeing the show and couldn’t believe people had booked to see a cabaret show and complained that it was a cabaret show. It quite clearly explains it’s a cabaret/variety show so if you’re going and expecting a west end musical, you’re booking the wrong kind of show. I for one, I absolutely loved the variety, I was thoroughly entertained and the venue is intimate and very quaint. I love that you can sit round a table with your family and the acts come in and out of the audience, it really makes you feel part of the show. I thoroughly recommend it, it’s clear a lot of work has gone into the acts and my husband and I had an excellent evening watching and participating ??
Two small of venue and only 3 acts better in the theatre
It is funny
First time attending a cabaret. I took my neice, nephew and grandson aged 10yrs upto 13yrs. They didn't at all find it engaging neither did I to be honest! There where three acts, that took it in turn over the 2hrs. We had the announcer who in our opinion talked and sang to much! The acts again we found they talked to whilst doing the piece. The magic in the opinion of my nephew was boring! Our seating was very poor as we could not see the acts proper, this I believe might have played a major part as to why we did not feel engaged with the whole experience! We felt it was great value for money unfortunately!!
