David O'Mahony

Born 23rd May 1982 in Enfield, London, David O’Mahony is an accomplished actor. He made his West End debut in The Bodyguard. Before this, he toured the USA for sell-out performances. They include the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Staples Centre in LA, and cities such as Las Vegas, St Paul, Anaheim and Kansas City.

In between theatre, David has also worked in short films, out of which many entered in to film festivals. He has put up amazing performances all over the world, from Florida State Television to South Pacific’s Pitcairn Island. He has performed in the West End, joined TV dramas, filmed at Pinewood Studios, as well as appeared on live TV. He continues to grow his skills by frequently attending workshops and working with various directors and casting directors.

 

Training:

He received training at the Central School of Speech and Drama, before which he also read Drama and History at Brunel University.

Theatre:

His theatre credits include The Last 5 Years (Completely Productions) where he appeared as Jamie; Snow White (QDOS Productions) as Prince Benedict; Batman Live (Waterlane Productions) as cover Joker and Two Face; The Bodyguard (David Ian & Michael Harrison Prod.) as Frank Farmer, cover Stalker; Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Paul Blake & Mike Bosner) as cover Gerry, Barry, Donnie, and Aladdin (QDOS Productions) where he was seen as Abanazar.

Film:

David has also worked in films, culminating several credits including the role of Lionel in The Longest Pint; Charlie in The Polkadots; Jesse in Subject 27; City Man in Treasures; Damien in The Calling; Darren in An Infernal Demand; Oliver in Close to You; the title role in Billy, and Dave the Estate Agent in Hobbes Lane.

TV:

His credits in television include Midsomer Murders and Waking the Dead.
