Joel Montague

Joel Montague is a professional actor from London. He has his own production company in the North West named Curtain Call Productions. There, he directs and choreographs his own shows.

Joel is experienced in voiceover, theatre, music videos, commercials and comedy. He is also skilled in tap, jive, jazz, ballet, Latin American, and Breakdancing.

 

Training:

Joel received his three-year training in Musical Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting.

His credits in theatre include Stephen Daldry’s Billy (Working Title) at Victoria Palace Theatre, London as a Swing (2008-2010) First Family Entertainment at Milton Keynes Theatre (2010-2011); Carousel at the Arcola Theatre as Carousel (2014) and Jerry Zaks’ Sister Act (Stage Entertainment) in the No.1 UK Tour as an ensemble, first cover Joey (2011-2012). He was also in Urinetown (St James Theatre, Apollo Theatre) as a swing, assistant dance captain; The Producers (UK Tour); Funny Girl (Menier Chocolate Factory and Savoy Theatre); School Of Rock (New London Theatre); Fat Friends (UK Tour); the UK premiere of Falsettos; The Rocky Horror Show (UK Tour) and Sister Act (UK Tour).

On television, Joel worked in In Suspicious Circumstances, Girls in Love and Girlfriends.
