Lewis Cornay

Lewis Cornay is a professional British actor with experience in theatre, television and concert. He is a talented falsetto and tenor and is appearing in the latest production of The Book of Mormon as Elder Cross/Davis.

 

Training:

Lewis trained at the Guildford School of Acting and graduated with a BA Honours degree in Musical Theatre in 2017.

Theatre:

His theatre credits include playing Kurt Von-Trapp in Jeremy Sams' The Sound Of Music at the London Palladium (2008); Louis Leonownes in Jeremy Sams' The King And I at the Royal Albert Hall (2009); Michael Banks in Richard Eyre's Mary Poppins at Prince Edward Theatre (2005); Harry in Catherine Hudson's Wastwater at Hen And Chickens Theatre (2014); Ryder in Paw Patrol Live: Race To The Rescue (Nickelodeon, 2017); Wallace Hartley and Bellboy in Thom Southerland's Titanic (Tarento Productions, 2018); The Elephants Child in Kirk Jameson's Just So at the Barn Theatre.

While training at the GSA, his credits involved understudy Frank Jr and ensemble in Shaun Kerrison's Catch Me If You Can (2016); Benny Southstreet in Samuel Wood's Guys And Dolls (2017); Oscar D'Armano in Phyllida Crowley-Smith's The Wild Party (2016).

TV:

He was an ensemble in Oliver! at Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV, 2009).

Music:

He was a vocalist in Maria Friedman's The Oliviers In Concert at the Royal Festival Hall (2016) and soloist in The Songs Of Daniel And Laura Curtis at the Hippodrome Casino.

Workshops:

Lewis was also in different workshops. He played Thomas Malloy in Nicholas Scrivens' The Beautiful Game (2016) and Orlando in Darren Tunstall's As You Like It at the GSA; Imp in Andrew Doyle and Craig Adams' Soul Music at Perfect Pitch (2016); Ben in Bronagh Lagan's The Break at The Arts Theatre (2017); Marius in Richard Israel's Brothers at The Arts Theatre (2017).
