Lucy Anderson

Lucy Anderson is a professional actress living in London. She is appearing in the latest production of Dear Evan Hansen as Zoe Murphy. For her role, she received a 2020 Olivier Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress In A Musical. Anderson is a skilled mezzo, choral and contemporary singer.

 

Training:

She attended the Guildford School of Acting for her foundation course (2015 – 2016) and later went to Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating with a BA Honours degree in Musical Theatre (2016 – 2019).

Theatre: 

Anderson has over a decade’s experience in acting. It started in 2008 when she played Millie Dunlop in Rachel Kavanaugh’s The Music Man. In 2011, she appeared as Susan Pevensie in Dale Rooks’ The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe at the Chichester Festival Youth Theatre (2011).

While training at Mountview Academy, she portrayed the role of Emmie Sparrow in Benjamin Till’s Brass (2018); Follies Girl/Sheila in Paul Foster’s Crazy For You (2019); ensemble in Sally Ann Gritton’s Sweeney Todd (2019).

Workshop: 

She played Ribbon Seller/Little Maid in Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Cinderella, Rug at The Other Palace (2019).

TV:

In 2019, she appeared on television as Lara Godstone in Steve Kelly’s Doctors (BBC).
