I have seen this baller many times, by many companies, starting with Nureyev at the Coliseum in 1980, but this performance, by the Northern Ballet on 1st June 2024 (matinee) at Sadlers Wells, was absolutely electric, fresh, new, delicate, moving and mesmerisingly beautiful. Congratulations to the company for this production! It was a complete privilege to have been there to watch it.
