A Chorus Line London Tickets
Seventeen stories. Eight chances. One singular sensation.
New York City. 1975. On an empty Broadway stage, seventeen performers find themselves in the throes of a rigorous audition for a groundbreaking new musical, knowing that only eight will emerge victorious. A Chorus Line is a musical masterpiece that revolutionised Broadway, with creator Michael Bennett using real-life testimonies from late-night recording sessions with dancers. This production pays homage to the often-overlooked heroes of the theater, sharing poignant tales of ambition, shattered aspirations, and the true sacrifices required to pursue one's dreams.
We, the audience, are able to get a front-row seat on all the action. This show-stopping musical has received critical and audience acclaim since its debut, and the result is a celebration of the American Musical itself.
More About A Chorus Line
Nicholas Dante and James Kirkwood Jr.’s A Chorus Line premiered in 1975 on Broadway, paying tribute to the talented performers backstage who step up to audition for their dreams.
A Chorus Line takes the audience behind the scenes of a Broadway audition. It follows the journey of a group of aspiring dancers who are auditioning for roles in a chorus line of a new musical. The show is structured as an audition process, with the dancers sharing their personal stories, hopes, dreams, and vulnerabilities with the director and choreographer.
Throughout the musical, the characters reveal their backgrounds, experiences, and the reasons why they have chosen a life in the theatre. The audience gets to know each character intimately, from the confident and sassy Sheila to the shy and introspective Paul. The central character, Cassie, is a former Broadway star who has returned to audition for a chorus role.
A Chorus Line features iconic songs including 'One, I Hope I Get It', 'Nothing' and the hit ballad 'What I Did For Love'.

I loved it!
It was absolutely spectacular, gripping from the very beginning. Can't wait to see it again on tour.
Stunning show, fabulous actors-dancers-singers! Good times guarantee! A must see.
The show itself deserves five stars, a modern and spectacular adaptation of the original production. The live band music is a superb bonus. Unfortunately the positive experience was disrupted by the behaviour of some people in the theatre. Despite thorough bag search at entry people are allowed to bring in and eat food or drink during the performance. Very disturbing if happening in front of you. Also as there's no interval the need to leave for the toilet could be seen. Absolutely unnecessary nuisances that one would not expect in a theatre environment. As people are paying a higher sum for tickets, they should not endure a cinema experience.
Wonderful production, very true to original.
Musically, the show was inconsistent. The band was small, and the arrangements deviated from the originals. Several numbers were cut, edited, or not played live. Iconic moments, such as "What I Did for Love" and "The Music and the Mirror," felt like karaoke backtracks, losing their emotional impact due to the lack of full orchestration. While the cast is undeniably talented, some performances lacked the depth needed to fully convey their characters. I particularly appreciated the performances of Redmand Rance, Chloe Saunders, and Katie Lee. However, other actors struggled with projection and failed to bring the necessary depth to their roles. This was especially evident in Paul's monologue and in scenes involving Zack, whose rapid delivery and lack of dynamics undermined his character’s interactions. The original choreography should remain untouched; altering it is like painting over the Mona Lisa—disrespectful to the integrity of the work.
A long awaited revival that proves this is still one of the greatest musicals. Fabulous production! Keeping the spirit of the original Broadway show, but shifting it forward and proving that it is timeless. Great songs, real drama, inventive staging and DANCE at its core.
The show was captivating, emotional and absolutely brilliant
Chorus Line was fabulous! Great value for money seat.
Fabulous evenings entertainment, great seats

It was absolutely amazing, all the characters are massively talented. It took me back to my childhood, me and my sister had this on video, we watched it all the time. Would highly recommend it. Truly amazing.
