About Boris Godunov

Boris Godunov rises to the Russian throne in a dazzling coronation, but his bloody path to power casts a long shadow. As famine fuels nationwide unrest, Boris is tormented by guilt over the murder of young heir Dmitry. Across the border in Poland, an ambitious newcomer sees his chance to strike. With Russia on the brink and his sanity slipping, can Tsar Boris hold onto his crown, or will the ghosts of his past finally destroy him?
