What is A Sherlock Carol about?
Three long Christmases have passed since the events of Reichenbach Falls. Sherlock strolls the streets of Victorian London, with little desire for minced pies or solving crimes, until he is encountered by a grown Tim Cratchit, who believes that Ebenezer Scrooge has been met with foul play.
Something about the death doesn’t quite add up, a missing diamond, a threatening letter - but Sherlock is on the case! On this dark and ominous Christmas Eve, the night is heavy with spirits from the past, present and future, but can Sherlock overcome his own ghosts in order to solve the case?

A clever mix of Dickens and Doyle. Although it was a bit ‘bare’ in some areas.

Boring, did not engage us at all, we left at the interval
Very enjoyable, a clever mashup of Sherlock and A Christmas Carol with some nice touches, in a small intimate theatre.
A clever smash between The Blue Carbuncle and A Christmas Carol. The actors are very versatile and it is all put together well. The staging is good and very atmospheric. A jolly and seasonal show, perfect for the time of year.
I loved every minute! The actor and actresses are fenomenal that you get bring back to Holmes time. Highly recommend.
A lovely theatre, with comfortable seating and a good view of the stage from every seat. The show was well acted and enjoyable. It started a little dry, but warmed up as it went on. Well worth a visit.
Really enjoyed our visit ro see A Sherlock Carol. The Marylebone theatre staff were friendly and helpful.
I have seen Sherlock Carol twice now in the three years it has been on at the Marlebone theatre this time was just as enjoyable as the first. The handful of actors are extremely good. The story is cleverly put together. I am a big fan of Charles Dickens a Christmas Carol and this cleverly intermingles that story with Sherlock Holmes and Watson. Altogether it is a very entertaining couple of hours spent in a small comfortable and intimate theatre environment. I highly recommend this production for anybody who is a fan of Dickens or Sherlock Holmes and wants an enjoyable Christmas experience.
Very well performed
Wonderful performance in a nice refurbished local theatre. The play is easy to follow and well performed.
We were disappointed that we had the understudy playing Sherlock at Sunday's matinee Although his performance was still good. The first half of the show was a little stunted and it didn't feel like the audience were very engaged. Things definitely improved with the second half when Scrooge had much more of a role and raised the "Spirits"
