Alasdair Harvey

Alasdair Harvey is a professional actor, director and singer who has vast experience in theatre and screen. Originally from Scotland, he has worked extensively both on stage and screen.

Credits include ensemble in Ed Wilson’s Blitz at Northern Stage; Costermonger/Servant in the National tour of My Fair Lady; Avrham in Fiddler On The Roof at the West Yorkshire Playhouse; understudy Alex Dillingham in the National tour of Aspects of Love, and also the Prince of Wales Theatre; Cliff in Sunset Boulevard at the Adelphi Theatre; Grantaire and understudy Marius in Les Miserables at the Palace Theatre; Raoul in The Phantom Of The Opera at Her Majesties Theatre; Beast in Beauty And The Beast at the Dominion Theatre; Alex D’urberville in Tess Of The D’Urberville at the Savoy Theatre and Lyceum Theatre; Pirate King in The Pirates Of Penzance at the Bromley Open Air; Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls at the Edinburgh Royal Lyceum; Bill Cracker inn Happy End; Wild Bill Hickok in Calamity Jane in the National tour, Man 1 in Putting It Together at the Harrogate Theatre, and Dennis/Boatman in Sunday In The Park With George at the Menier Chocolate Factory and Wyndhams Theatre among others.

Direction:

As a director, Alasdair was involved in shows like Shirley Valentine, Two, Ladies Day By Amanda Whittington, and The Blue Room.

TV:

His several television appearances include PC Robertson in Nick Phillips’ Birds Of A Feather, Mr Connors in BBC TV’s Holby City, Dave Schofield in BBC TV’s Casualty, Ewan Patterson in BBC Scotland’s River City, Bruce Malcolm in Talkback Thames Television’s The Bill, Harry Shaw in Patrick Harkins’ Taggart and Martin in BBC’s Eastenders.

Short Film:

He has also worked in short films like Courted (2017), A Man And His Shed, and The Confidence Trick.
