Alexia McIntosh

A Jamaican-British actress, Alexia McIntosh, was born in Birmingham, England. She is an actress, singer, and dancer, currently appearing in Six: The Musical as Anna of Cleves in the West End. She played the role before in the UK Tour of the show in 2018.

 

Training:

She trained at the Birmingham School of Acting, graduating with a BA in Acting (2012-15).

Theatre:

Alexia played the role of Tina/Nunn in Sister Act at the Gordon Craig Theatre (2015); Obax in Opera For The Unknown Woman at the Fuel Theatre (2016); Chief Weasel in Wind In The Willows at the Old Rep Theatre (2016); Abiola in Save Our School Dinners…Jamie!! at the Belgrade Theatre and Old Rep Theatre (2017); Rosa in Godiva Rocks at Belgrade Theatre.

During her training, she played Hermione in The Winters Tale (2013); Mimi in Rent (2014); Euphrania in The Broken Heart (2014); Elmire in Tartuffe (2014); Mrs Andrews in Earthquakes In London (2014); Sarah Worth in The Sugar Wife (2015); Virginia in Soul Music (2015).

Other Credits:

Her other works include portraying Mary Magdalene in Coventry Mystery Plays (2006) and Dancer in Truth About Lies (2007), both of which were street theatre performances; multiple roles in Sweet Tooth (One Woman Show) Based On Slave Trade at the Arena Theatre (2007, 2008); Singer in the concerts Roots&Routes Cultural Sunday Utrecht (2008), Roots&Routes Cultural Exchange, Germany (2008), Reggae Band Spanish Tour (2009) and Gabbidon Band (2012).
