Sophie Isaacs to play Katherine Howard in the West End’s SIX

Six the Musical recently saw the departure of Vicki Manser leaving the crown of Katherine Howard unoccupied. From 21 January 2020, a new queen will be coronated, and Sophie Isaacs will play the role of Howard. Isaacs will be joining the West End cast at the Arts Theatre after she finishes her current run at the London Palladium in their Christmas pantomime Goldilocks.

Sophie Isaacs to join Six West End cast

The West End will see a new queen join the hugely popular Six the Musical at London’s Arts Theatre in the new year. Sophie Isaacs will step into the role of Katherine Howard once she finishes her run at Goldilocks. Her first performance will be on 21 January 2020. Isaacs previously starred in Heathers the Musical in its Other Palace run and its West End run at Theatre Royal Haymarket where she played the role of Heather McNamara.

The current West End cast of Six features Jarneia Richard-Noel as Catherine of Aragon, Courtney Bowman as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris as Jane Seymour, Alexia McIntosh as Anna of Cleves and Danielle Steers as Catherine Parr. The cast also includes Zara MacIntosh as Alternate Catherine of Aragon and Katherine Howard, Cherelle Jay as Alternate Anne Boleyn and Anna of Cleves, Hana Stewart as Alternate Jane Seymour and Catherine Parr and Collette Guitart as dance captain and understudy.

Six the Musical creative team

The smash-hit that is Six was written by the duo Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, and has co-direction by Moss and Jamie Armitage. The creative team features Carrie-Anne Ingrouille (choreography), Emma Bailey (set design), Gabriella Slade (costume design), Tim Deiling (lighting design), Paul Gatehouse (sound design), Joe Beighton (musical supervision) and Tom Curran (orchestrations).
